● about: "Rather than a person who hurts others, become the person getting hurt. A kind person finds happiness in just that". This is what kaneki learned from his mother, and he follows this. he is incredibly kind, gentle, he is shy and also awkward, very quiet and doesn't speak his mind. Tends to be selfless, doesn't have much confidence in himself and sees himself as weak, but even so he is trying hard to become stronger in order to protect the ones he loves. AND THEN HE WAS TURNED INTO A GHOUL who are cannibal people basically and... that... sucks a lot. Kaneki hates that ghoul part, but above all, he is SCARED of the ghoul part. He has to balance the fact that he is now forced to do something terrible, and the fact that ghouls aren't not monsters. Kaneki's life is full of suffering.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: Kaneki is VERY new and my hiatus is in no way going to help with this, but before sending him into a spiral of awful things, I really want to get him settled with CR he can trust. He is introvert, has a very hard time getting close to people despite being nice to everyone and so I want him to meet others he can talk to, feel close to and be with. because Kaneki without people to rely on is like someone spiraling down he is terrible at being alone.
● what plans you have for this character: None for now, except for the above!
● shipping/smut preferences: I'm fine with it! But please be gentle, Kaneki's first and last date tried to literally eat him.

● what your character wants: He really just wants friends and not be a freak. He is in a situation where he IS a freak and he hates him. So he also wants to keep that well hidden.
● what your character needs: He really needs someone to get him to open up. Kaneki is never actually true about what he feels, what he thinks. He keeps all of that locked away because he can't bother others and he lacks self-esteem in every way. He has a lot of issues he doesn't tackle down, he is incapable of making choices or even saying "no".

He's coming from succeeding against an almost lifelong plot to overthrow his rule begun by his uncle, after killing his fiancé's brother and succeeding in revealing his Uncle's plot. It's the first time he's ever really been able to relax, and he intends to enjoy it, at least a little.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: I'm very excited to get Laurent out and about and let him be happy, for once in his damned complicated life. He's going to do some missions, live with his fiancé, help Damen with his grief, and try and make some friends?! Maybe?!
● what plans you have for this character: As a rising supermodel, Laurent is eventually going to launch his own line up of clothes, and then proceed with some other business ventures, as well.
● shipping/smut preferences: He's not available, sorry. He's super in love with his husband-to-be.

● what your character wants: To have a big fancy wedding to his husband to be, to help Damen find happiness, probably to get home eventually but to also enjoy what he has, while he's able to have it. He's the sort who expects the rug to be pulled out from under him at any moment, and is very slow to trust. He expects that things in Riverview might be a little too good to be true.
● what your character needs: People who will have patience with him and help him open up more. Friends, basically!

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: max is very much a soldier who likes the simple pleasures: food, drink, sex. he's also a fully trained spy but shhhhh he won't mention that any time soon. he wouldn't be a good spy now if he did, would he? mostly, i want to play him getting used to modern technology and a world that's so different from his own, and i want him to enjoy life here (while also knowing that he has obligations back home that he has to return to). i'd love for him to grow close enough with anyone to actually admit the story of the scars on his back, but that probably won't happen any time soon.
● what plans you have for this character: sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. nah, just kidding. pizza, beer and sex is more like it. but also: he's going on a mission to retrieve some creature soon with rey et al, and he'll be around doing perimeter guard stuff.

● about: stats + permissions; application; Eddie is an observant, cocky, quick-thinking, decisive police detective with a heart of gold and a massive hero complex. ...and despite all that stuff about him being smart, he's also kind of a ditz when it comes to science and pop culture. He's not terribly creative either, and can be a bit passive-aggressive, but he's very good-natured and will definitely take a bullet to protect you even if he doesn't know you. He's coming right from his death at the end of season one, where he took the aforementioned bullet to save everyone he loves, so he's got a few issues that he's just starting to address. Expect him to be burying himself in his work, being cheerful, and trying to cover all of that up with smiles.

● what aspect of the game you are most interested in with this character: CR building (friendships, found family, shipping) and maybe some exploration missions.
● what plans you have for this character: Learning wizard magic from Taako; having some cold case that needles at him long-term; trying to work through his post-death issues.
● shipping/smut preferences: Somewhat open to shipping. He's doing a casual sort of thing with Taako, and is also rebounding a bit in the adult prompts at various mingles. Hit me up if you'd like some kind of fling like this, though I'm only interested in m/m with Eddie at this time. I don't have to fade to black, but it doesn't bother me to do it either, as long as I get to write the stuff after. Eddie won't be in a relationship with or be sexually involved with anyone under 20, by any means.

● what your character wants: People to take care of. Things to do. Not to think too much. Friends. Found family. A team.
● what your character needs: All of the above. Plus therapy, probably. Also, Eddie isn't the typical 'stoic' type at all, but he uses his friendliness and cheerfulness and eagerness to help as a shield, and really needs people who are willing to push past that. He's got a lot of really nasty lingering issues related to the failure of his relationship, his two-week kidnapping in canon, and his death. His instinct is to brush them off or stop talking about them ASAP, so some close CR that will push him to open up about his feelings would be absolutely spectacular. It might not be pretty because Eddie is bad at dealing with his own negative feelings, but it's something he really needs.

● what plans you have for this character: Currently he's formed an attachment to Reaper that puts him in a comfortable spot, and is pretty much casing the city to find a way to take it over. He's also working on breeding the fireflies from the April test drive, to create some experimental type of drug.
● shipping/smut preferences: Dodger will sleep with anyone, whether he's in a relationship or not, and he's likely to form romantic attachments with multiple people at a time without really taking any of them seriously. If he does get serious about a relationship, he's likely to be aggressive and possessive about them, so be warned that this will likely have a lasting effect on your character's safety if you wanna pursue it.
